Zarkana performers fly high but leave the audience flat

Zarkana, Cirque Du Soleil’s newest production at Radio City Music Hall has all the glitz of Las Vegas in a series of traditional circus acts, and adds dazzling costumes and sets.  If you love the circus, you’ll probably love this.  If you love Broadway, it’s a series of acts that go on and on and you keep waiting for a story line to link it altogether and it just never happens.  Radio City is enormous, with 5,600 seats and there is definitely a lot going on at one time on the stage, but feels disconnected and receives only mild applause from the audience.  Do you prefer the circus or a Broadway show?
