NYC’s St. Patrick’s Renovation Ready for Pope Francis’ Visit

After a three year renovation, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is finishing in time for Pope Francis’ visit!
Workers cleaned and repaired the 3,700 individual panels in 75 stained glass windows, among other extensive renovation work including:
- 30,000 individual repairs were made to stone, plaster and wood.
- 120 tradesmen worked on the construction site on an average day
- 225,000 square feet of scaffold was used for interior and exterior work
