New Korean restaurants are sprouting up all over the city outside of their traditional neighborhoods: “K-Town” little Korea in midtown and in Flushing, Queens.

Selections range from the traditional, casual barbecue that are perfect for groups because they can have fun cooking their own food at the table and sharing, to Michelin starred fusion cuisine options that are elegant dinners for two. Even Chelsea Market now has a tiny new option, called mŏkbar, a ramen shop that combines traditional Korean soups with fresh Japanese ramen noodles for a unique noodle experience.
