Kathleen Turner turns in Tony level performance in High
Posted on Mar 30, 2011
Fasten your seatbelt. You’re in for an incredible ride with Kathleen Turner’s performance in High.
This tale of addiction and forgiveness from playwright Matthew Lombardo is truly wonderful. Kathleen Turner is cast as Sister Jamison Connelly, a nun with a less-than-angelic past and very salty language, who finds her calling by working at a Catholic rehab center. Her performance is sure to be nominated for a Tony!
Stephen Kunken joins her as Father Michael Delpapp, a priest who brings young addict Cody Randall (Evan Jonigkeit, in his Broadway debut) to her for help. The language, content and full nudity will be a challenge for some. For others, it will be a truly great night on Broadway.
