Welcome Dinner: Hands on Cooking Class. Learn to make a delicious and easy dinner with a James Beard award winning cookbook author and chef. Stay for dinner and enjoy the meal together.
Outdoor and/or Indoors in New York City: Take a lesson with one of DNY’s expert instructors and enjoy water sports that can include sailing, kayaking, canoeing, power boats or land activities including biking, jogging, trapeze classes, rock climbing or explore the museums with hands on art classes in drawing, paper making or print making, or take a lesson with a Broadway actor to learn a number from a Broadway show or learn to create your own magic from a magician.
Korean Barbeque Dinner: Children love to select their own ingredients and Barbecue their own dinner. It’s a flavorful and fun evening.
Day of Immigration: Today, your DNY guide will help you learn about your family’s heritage. Visit the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and learn how many people emigrated from your home country. Next, enjoy an authentic Deli lunch and visit the Tenement Museum to see how families started their lives on the Lower West Side.
Dinner and Broadway Show: Enjoy a pre-theatre dinner in neighborhood restaurant within walking distance from the show that you will see. Your orchestra tickets will be to the Broadway Show.
Private Scavenger Hunt at the Metropolitan Museum of Art!
Make the Metropolitan Museum fun for everyone, using clues to find famous works of art. Children receive a gift card to purchase a memory of their experience.
The focus can be on Fashion Through the Ages, Animals of the Met, or Flowers Around The World, in addition to general highlights of the collection.
