Cinderella is a Magical Evening on Broadway for the Young and Young at Heart
Posted on Feb 1, 2013
Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella has arrived on Broadway for the first time, and our hope is that it will be here delighting audiences for years!
The cast is perfect, the set design stunning, the costumes wonderful, and the story works for both adults and children alike! It’s a new take on a beloved fairy tale that is fun, smart, funny, and keeps the magic alive with terrific illusions with the pumpkin, glass slipper, masked ball and more. It brings out the best in the cast and audience alike for a wonderful 2 ½ hours of sheer entertainment.
Songs include “In My Own Little Corner” and “Impossible/It’s Possible.”
Audience: ages 4 and over with a sense of wonder. Bring a sweater as the theatre is very cold. It’s a big set, so sit back. Booster seats are available for smaller people.
Glass slippers are so back is accurate. You want to run out and purchase your very own pair. For additional theatre options, check Kitt’s Picks Theatre Reviews.
