A Christmas Story The Musical: Family Fun on Broadway for the Holidays in New York City

Posted on Nov 8, 2012

A new option for family entertainment this holiday seasons is A Christmas Story The Musical.  Set in the 1940’s in Indiana, a bespectacled boy named Ralphie has a big imagination and one wish for Christmas — a Red Ryder BB gun. The show is a bit camp to appeal to adult audiences and a good family show for children 6 and over.  It’s a big cast with an amazing number of costume changes. Dan Lauria plays the narrator and probably most recognized as the Dad on “The Wonder Years”.  Johnny Rabe is darling as Ralphie, with John Bolton as his father ad Erin Dilly playing his mother.

A kooky leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a cranky department store Santa and a triple-dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the obstacles that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas dream.

This production will run through December 30, 2012.
