“Kitt’s Illustrated Talks” help passengers on cruise ships and corporate attendees get the most from their visit to New York City. Her illustrated talks provide a wonderful perspective on the history of New York City. From Windmills to Skyscrapers is a favorite request to visualize how New York has grown from a small Dutch trading port into a world capital city by looking at its history, neighborhoods and architecture. Her Welcome to New York orientations are perfect for new employees to learn how to navigate the city like a native.
Specialty talks include: The History of the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, A Grand Design and Engineering Marvel, From Trestle to Treasure, Transforming Manhattan’s West Side and Welcome to New York’s Harbor.
Creating the perfect dining experience for corporate dinners or family celebrations is a natural for Kitt with her international travel background having lived overseas. Her mother taught cooking and wrote for Gourmet Magazine where testing recipes was a way to learn about a variety of cultures. Looking at menus from various countries, Kitt learned geography by understanding the topography of the country, what could and did grow where, what animals were raised on the land and seafood from the oceans.
Kitt has also been featured on the “Travel Channel,” “Delta Shuttle Magazine,” “Town and Country Travel” and “Elite Magazine.” She has taught cooking and designed food products for Fortune 500 companies while living in the U.S., Australia, Hong Kong and Mexico.
