Carolina and Mackenzie Mountain
My sister-in-law and I planned this birthday trip for our daughter and niece, both of whom were turning 13. With the timing following so closely upon the holidays, we had done very little planning other than flights and hotel. We were introduced to Kitt just 48 hours before getting on the plane, and in just two short days, Kitt pulled together an amazing itinerary of experiences, guides and special activities! Thanks to Kitt and her team, we had an fantastic time!! They were the difference between a good trip and a fabulous trip!
The girls had never been to New York before, so we focused on an overall overview of NYC. Katia and Suzanne were wonderful guides that gave us relaxed, informative, complete, non-traditional and fun overviews of important and interesting parts of the city and sights, including a scavenger hunt at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Kitt was able to get us great seats to the sold-out final evening performance of Billy Elliott (again, with only 2 days notice). She also arranged for us to meet with a cast member from Sister Act the morning of the show, learn one of the songs and the dance, and have a chance to hear first-hand what it?s like to work on Broadway. After the show, we got to go backstage and get the insider view. What a unique insight into Broadway for all of us!
We found Kitt to be ultimately flexible (again, even on such short notice) to accommodate other things that we wanted to do within the schedule she had created. She had arranged birthday desserts at the restaurants where we were dining. And she was available by cell phone the entire time we were there and came to meet us personally. Personal and high-service touches. This was an incredibly special trip that our girls will not soon forget!
