Gain access to the best shows, concerts, and sporting events with backstage access with a cast member. Visit a rehearsal studio and learn what it takes to create a Broadway show.  Hear from a producer how the show is financed, learn from the costumer how fabric flows across a stage, or how the individual actors come together to portray believable characters from the director. Anyone can come to New York and see a Broadway show, but Discover New York goes beyond the normal so you can experience theater first-hand.
  • Did you ever wonder what a casting call is like?
  • What does it take to make a costume for a show?
  • How do dancers and singers prepare for their shows?

Interact with actors, make-up artists, dancers and learn what it takes to be on Broadway. Each experience can be tailored to a child, teenager, adult, or group. Find the excitement of the theater behind the curtain in a world that only Discover New York can provide.
