Thank you to Wendy Perrin and Condé Nast Traveler for choosing us as their exclusive “Destination Specialist for New York City” for the second consecutive year!  We are thrilled to be included amongst the top travel specialist around the world.

I didn't know you did that!

Can you help us provide interesting and fun activities for our recruiting and intern programs to attract the best candidates to work for our company?
Attracting good candidates is fun and easy when they feel comfortable and a part of a team!  Through a series of interactive programs, candidates and the recruiters can get to know one another better by learning together. Here are a few examples:

  • Profitable Dining: Social Skills for Business Etiquette.  This presentation is a great way for the soon to be, or recent graduate to learn the skills necessary to stand apart from the crowd and entertain with confidence.  Whether the candidate is interviewing for a job, or volunteering as a co-host for charity benefit, or giving a toast at a dear friend’s wedding, learning the fine points of etiquette is a great source of self confidence.  Senior managers enjoy sitting in on this presentation and use it as a refresher course.

*Profitable Dining: Social Skills for Business Etiquette can be presented anywhere in the country, not just in New York City.  Call Kitt Garrett directly for booking details at 212-370-1319.

  • How to Create an Art Collection: This presentation helps focus on team building and working together to choose an artist and learn how to build a collection.  How do gallery owners’ choose artists, what makes art “collectable” and how to display and insure it?  It sounds simple, but getting the team to agree on an artist can be a challenge unto itself.

  • Navigating New York Like a Native: This New York City in a nutshell helps the visitor and local New Yorker to understand how to maximize their time in the city.  Who are New Yorker’s, where do they come from, how do they live, and how do they spend what little free time they have to get the most from each neighborhood, right down to tipping and finding restroom.

This is a perfect presentation for executives who are in NYC for sales training or lengthy meetings, recruiters who have candidates who wonder what it would be like to live here, spouse programs that will have free time on their own, and university students that want to explore the best that the city has to offer.

This program can be combined with a tour of New York City for the participants to go out and actually see what they have heard in the presentation with a Discover New York expert licensed guide.  Neighborhood walking tours can also be arranged by appointment as part of the presentation.

  • Unity through Diversity: New York is a melting pot of cultures, languages and customs.  One common thread is the love of food.  This program allows participants to explore the variety of foods and their heritage, neighborhood by neighborhood tasting samples along the way!
