Sharing contacts in the field of Travel is always very rewarding.  Whenever we are asked to provide a counterpart somewhere in the world to what we offer in NY, it is our pleasure to do so.

This month I had the opportunity to spend a weekend in Norfolk, VA celebrating my son Brent’s engagement to Brooke Phillips.  Brooke recently joined her family’s business, Phillips Tours.  We now have offspring with both parents in the Destination Management Field.

In fact, it was Anne Phillips who suggested that I take the test to become a DMCP, (Destination Management Certified Professional).  Anne obtained her certification several years ago, and it’s an honor to join the ranks of the professionals in the industry that have attained this level of experience and it was worth the hard to work to sit for the certification test.

If you need help with group travel in Norfolk, please call Phillips Tours and speak with either Brooke or her mother Anne to help create a wonderful experience for your clients.  Anne can help you with a day program from one of the many cruise ships that stop there or affinity groups wishing to explore Williamsburg.   Phillips Tours telephone is: (757) 623-4400. You can e-mail Anne at anne@phillipstours.com or Brooke at Brooke@phillipstours.com.

Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day!  Everyone in NYC is Irish for just one day!
