Thank you to Town and Country Traveler Winter 2004 for selecting us as their choice for planning your next trip to New York!

I didn't know you did that!

Can you help us put a trip together for our museum to visit New York?
Yes, depending upon the focus of your particular museum’s collection, there are a variety of experiences in NY that allow you to see how prints are made, glass is blown, concentrate on photography or works on paper.  Click here to see Art Lover’s Programs on our website.

Can you help us create a day trip for some of our outstanding employees as a “thank you”?
We’ll meet your group at either Penn Station or Grand Central Terminal for a fun day exploring the city.  A recent program included breakfast at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and private Historical Tour of the hotel, a visit to see Christo’s Gates in Central Park, lunch in Little Italy with shopping along Canal Street, dinner in the theater district and Broadway Show, then a return trip to the train station. A jam packed and fun day is a wonderful way to say “thank you for a job well done”.

My first visit to Baltimore in years was at the beginning of the month.  Charleston is a restaurant that is delicious and really worth a visit.  The wait staff knows each dish and can describe it in such detail that you can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

Houston is always fun since I have so many friends there.  Holly Davis who used to work for us hails from Houston, as does Emily and Enders.  Holly’s wedding was in Belize at Victoria House.  Over 100 people flew in for the 3 day “event and wedding”.  The ceremony took place on the beach and was just beautiful. Many of Holly and Steve’s friends and family were there to share in the festivities.

I took a small 12 seater plane to Caye Chapel, an island resort of 265 acres in the Caribbean. The plane landed and we stepped off and walked directly to our golf carts!  The island is so narrow you can always see the ocean on both sides of the course.  Nine villas and 11 casitas are there for any retreat as long as you are willing to sign off on the local crocodiles. It’s a long and challenging course on a very isolated island.

The place to be at the end of February was definitely New York to enjoy Christo’s Gates in Central Park.  Miles and miles of saffron fabric flowed and changed hues with the sun shining through.  It was truly magnificent.
