What can you offer for a group of mothers and teenage daughters for a shopping weekend in NYC?

In today’s economy, shopping trips to New York’s Garment Center have become a wonderful bonding experience for mothers and daughters who are coming to New York to celebrate birthdays, sweet sixteen and bat mitzvahs, or time to be together doing something fun. Our friends from Latin and South America, Canada and Europe are enjoying these opportunities in addition to the families that are a JetBlue flight away.

The Garment District is open from Monday – Friday. On the weekends, our shopping programs take place in the hot trendy neighborhoods that have styles that are perfect for each age group.

Add a theater experience. Call us for recommendations about which Broadway shows would be the best fit or they can visit our website for ideas under Kitt’s Picks Theater. We’ll then include the tickets and backstage access with a cast member to see the wigs, costumes props and really see how many people it takes to get a show on stage.

Can you help us with transportation for a meeting and an off-site event?
DNY can provide a variety of transportation options for your group arriving for a meeting in NYC with staffing at the airport to welcome your guests and transfer them to the hotel and from the hotel to off-site events.

We wish each of you a wonderful and healthy New Year. This is going to be a very exciting time with our new President taking office on January 20th. We wish the President, his family and the new administration success as he steers the course ahead to be as smooth as possible towards economic recovery. Pulling together with optimism and good cheer is important. Travel is still a great way to bridge the gaps of understanding one another by getting to know a destination first hand rather than just reading about it or watching someone else showcase it on the television or in the movies.

Each of us at DNY hopes that you will continue to explore your horizons by traveling and exploring the world first hand. We stand ready to take you beyond the New York that you already know and learn more about who we are, how we live and what makes New York a very special place no matter what your cultural background. It’s always rewarding to return from a destination that you have been to many times before but see it in a very different way to broaden your perspective. New York changes daily, so you can live here and yet somehow, never see it all.

Although it’s cold outside, now is a great time to focus on the cultural opportunities with the museums, galleries and great shopping bargains available.
