What can we do in a day to visit New York for a corporate incentive?
Explore the world of Art, Theater, Shopping or Culinary Delights with a full day adventure.  Arrive by 9 AM and leave by 6:30 PM.  Call us and let us know if you prefer to explore hot galleries and meet an artist in his studio, visit a rehearsal studio and sing with a cast member of the Broadway Show that you will see, take a cooking class or nosh your way through New York’s neighborhoods!  If shopping is your preference, learn the hot tips from NY’s stylists.

We want to bring our teenage son/daughter to NY to celebrate their upcoming graduation.  Can you help us create an entire trip including transfers, hotels, excellent theater tickets, and something very special?
Absolutely, from touchdown to takeoff, our Client Services Associates can help you create the trip of a lifetime!  Added to all of the above requests can be: private tours of Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden, private helicopter tours, private cooking classes, tapings of Emeril Live, personal shopping experiences, visits to fashion magazine headquarters, spa packages, visits to rehearsal studios to meet with casting directors and cast members before a Broadway show, private visits to artist’s studios or exploring NY’s harbor on a tug boat or sailboat!  For additional ideas, visit our web site: www.dnykg.com.

Can you help us create pre and post cruise packages that are different from what the cruise lines offer?
Explore New York before or after your cruise from one to three days with transfers, hotels, theater and one special behind the scene program depending upon your interests.  Since this program is custom designed just for you, add whatever you wish to make this special.  If your family is celebrating a special occasion, just let us know and we’ll help you create a fabulous excursion for grandparents, children and grandchildren.

Culinary

Enjoy little bites of New York by cuisine.  Instead of facing the largest steak in NY, diners who enjoy “sharing plates” continues with the opening of English is Italian

This is a value restaurant with a $39.00 pre fix extravaganza of dishes.  Plate after plate of antipasto arrives at the table, followed by three different pasta dishes, and then one fish, one chicken and one meat.  There is fresh mozzarella “made at the table” for an extra $15.00 per plate and can be shared by the table.  It is well worth ordering.  Dessert and coffee will increase the price, but the wines begin at $25.00 per bottle and work their way up from there.  A fun evening for 2 or more.

Ono at Hotel Gansevoort has lots of great dishes to share.  From their Robata grill, two skewers or equivalent are served with 5 dipping sauces, the sushi menu includes some rice free options for low carb diets, and then the entreés are meant to be shared.  Bring a group with deep pockets or large expense account.

Gobo is located on the Upper East Side, an offers an all vegetarian menu designed as  food for the five senses.  Fresh ingredients and great flavors predominate and the prices are extremely friendly.

For further restaurant ideas, see our web site, www.dnykg.com and click on Kitt’s Picks Restaurants.   With over 20,000 restaurants in NY, seeking the best for different budgets and cuisine is always a challenge.  Here are some of our favorites.

Twelve Angry Men has been extended until May 15th.

Sweet Charity is back on track with previews beginning on April 11th and an opening scheduled the May 4th cut-off for Tony nominations with Christina Applegate as the lead.

Lot’s of great theater is available this spring.  For a complete listing of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, visit our web site: www.dnykg.com and click on Theater & Entertainment.   Click on Kitt’s Picks for my personal comments to help direct you to the perfect show just for you.

Crystal Cruise played host to us this past month and did a great job of providing lots of space for everyone.  The cabins are smaller than I had thought they would be, although nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed.  The quality of the food in the dining room is much better than the buffet on the Lido Deck but then, that seems to be true of any a la carte menu versus any buffet anywhere.

Hotel News:

The Ritz Carlton, Central Park has added two additional suite types on the 12th – 20th floors.  The Deluxe Park View suite has 850 square feet (79 square meters) and includes one bedroom and two full baths overlooking Central Park, or a Premier Suite with 1,110 square feet (102 square meters) with one and a half bathrooms and an optional connecting second bedroom with king bed and bathroom.  Both new suites include flat screen TV’s in the bathrooms and club access.

Enjoy the New York Palace’s "New York Holiday" Package and receive great rates on three and four night weekend stays over either Memorial Day or Independence Day weekends. Package includes welcome amenity, full-American breakfast for two and complimentary parking (no in or out privileges).  Let us add transfers, theater tickets and special programs.

The Ritz Carlton, South Beach was a great stopover point in March.  This is a very different property from the “traditional” Ritz Carlton look and is a conversion from an older property.  The room sizes are generous and the Club Level does a wonderful job of offering food and beverage presentations that are delicious.  The location is right “on the beach” and a private event allowed for a 1950's beach party that was great fun, even under the tent in torrential rain.  The staff at the front door handed an umbrella to each guest to keep dry between the hotel and the tent. It’s the little things that continue to make the service so special.
