New flavors are being added all the time to incorporate a variety of spices in addition to traditional fruits and nuts. Discover the very best of the best in the world of chocolate. 4 Hour Experience:

• Mozzarella Class
  Learn to make mozzarella! Fromager Waldemar Albrecht invites you to a unique hands-on experience, the only class where you can make, taste, and take home the fruit (or rather, ball) of your labor, but not before indulging in a one-of-a-kind tasting of fresh mozzarellas from the U.S. and Italy. This class is a delicious primer on enjoying - and making - fresh mozzarella before any dinner party. Wine will be served. Limited seating.
  
  Please dress accordingly. This class is a hands-on working event, as you get to make your own fresh mozzarella. Be prepared to get your hands in the water and mix fresh curd.

• Chelsea
  Chelsea and the Chelsea Market are home to a wonderful collection of both wholesale and retail purveyors. We’ll taste amazing chocolate brownies, hearty breads, fabulous creamy chowders, velvety gelato and a variety of special teas.
  
• Meatpacking District
  The old butcher shops and wholesale meat markets are now the homes to fashionable boutiques and famous restaurants. Explore the cobble stone streets and see the best of the best boutiques. This is the “Sex and the City” home for many of the TV show’s locations including SoHo House, the Gansevoort Hotel, Buddha Bar, and the apartment where Samantha lived.

• Greenwich Village
  What is more delicious than exploring the history of tree-lined streets and brownstone homes combined with the tastes of the neighborhood? Stop in at the local bakeries, cheese shops, and coffee and tea emporiums where you can find the best hummus, salami, rice balls, breads, and a variety of gelatos.
  
• SoHo
  There is nothing like tasting the creaminess of freshly made mozzarella; combined with the aroma and tastes of freshly baked bread with truffle oiled potatoes.

• Chinatown
  Chinatown is filled with marvelous food emporiums selling everything from dried and fresh fish, mushrooms, cakes and cookies, and really unusual items for home health remedies. We'll sample some of the best barbeque chicken and pork, dim sum, and fortune cookies.
  
• Lower East Side
  Next, we'll explore the Lower East Side and sample pickles from the barrel at Gus', explore the Essex Street Market, taste childhood candies from one of the famous candy shops in the neighborhood, and then eat bagels and bialys, the food staples of a New York Sunday brunch.

4 Hour Experience:

• The Upper West Side
  Where are the best bagels and lox, pickles, and pastrami? Noshing through New York's Neighborhoods gives history a new flavor. Understand who lives and works where in New York and what they eat and why. Visit H&H bagel factory; and then, head to Zabar's appetizing store to explore this emporium of smoked fish, delicatessen items, coffees, and over 700 kinds of cheese. The fresh fish displayed in the windows of Citarella are considered "food art."
  
• Chinatown
  Travel to Canal Street for a taste of Chinatown's cart food. Which area of China do wheat noodles or rice noodles come from? Taste the difference between wheat and rice noodles, barbecued ducks, chickens, and roast pork.

• The World of Wine
  Food lovers have a wide variety of programs to choose from when working with DNY’s Destination Specialists. Sit down and enjoy a cheese and wine class in a private room or walk around stations and sample wines and cheese. After the event, your guests will be impressed when they receive their own personalized wine report with the wine descriptions, their individual ratings, group ratings and other recommendations.
  
  Let our Sommelier entertain your guests with a tasting of world class wines with any of the following themes:
  • Regional Wine Tasting - By country or region (i.e. Bordeaux, Rioja, Australia)
    
  • Wines of the World - Sample different wines from different countries
    
  • Varietal Tastings - (i.e. Great cabernets from around the world)
    
  • Golf Themed - Sample wines from golf greats such as Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, Ernie Els and Greg Norman
